    Christmas Tree Fire

This NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) video demonstrates how quickly a cut and unwatered Xmas trees can catch fire.

All Pine trees are equally as flammable when they have dried out. If you do buy a cut tree stand it in water for the duration and then dispose of it or put it into a chipper and recycle it onto the garden, do not leave them lying around.

Or buy or rent a live Xmas tree.
