Introduction

Safety Scene is a unique experience, which is fun and has been designed to fit into the school curriculum as an aid for teachers, teaching assistants and children studying at Key Stage 1 & 2.

Safety Scene has also been successfully used by young people with learning disabilities to help teaching independent living skills.

Safety Scene is the UK’s only fully interactive (touring/non static) “safety town” for children and young people. Safety Scene makes learning about personal safety a fun and yet very realistic experience.

In addition, Safety Scene helps to create a link between young children and safety agencies representatives and other organisations.

Safety Scene in Action

Safety Scene has been used by Primary Care Trusts, Local Authorities, Community Safety Partnerships and individual primary and special schools.

In 2011, Safety Scene became a Social Enterprise and is registered as a Community Interest Company, which means all surpluses are re-invested into promoting safety and helping to reduce accidents.
